- You must either be currently enrolled in Matric or have already completed it.

- The qualification you are pursuing must be accredited on the NQF/N Levels.
- If you are currently studying, you must have passed the previous year’s course.
- Applicants must either be studying or have been accepted (or provisionally accepted) to study at a recognized tertiary institution in South Africa, such as a university, university of technology, or TVET institution offering NATED programs.
- You must be currently unemployed.
