EY Bursary South Africa 2025: Fields and Expenses Covered

The bursaries are available for students pursuing a degree in Chartered Accountancy. The bursary includes coverage for the following expenses:

  • Academic Merit Bursary: provides coverage for partial tuition fees only.
  • Academic merit with Financial need Bursary: Covers one or more of the following:
    • Tuition fees
    • Accommodation
    • Books
    • Meals
    • Or a combination of these

After completing their degree, students will be required to work at EY for the duration of their training contract, which is a minimum of three years. Candidates who are shortlisted will be invited to participate in a virtual video interview. Candidates who successfully pass the interview phase will be offered a training contract (if not already signed with EY) and subsequently a bursary agreement.
