What Fields and Expenses are Covered by the Esri Bursary?

This bursary program will cover studies for a Diploma in Geoinformation Science and Technology (GIS) at the Esri South Africa College in Midrand. Bursary recipients will also get the chance to work part-time at Esri, gaining hands-on experience in areas like database services, cartography, and app development. This will help them stay updated with the latest tech and build the skills needed for their career.

Five candidates will be awarded bursaries, covering their full course fees for the entire duration of their studies, along with textbooks and study materials. However, keep in mind that accommodation and travel costs will be the responsibility of the students. In addition, after finishing the Diploma, students may be offered a job at Esri South Africa.

Moreover, graduates will also have the opportunity to register as a GISc Technician with the South African Geomatics Council.
